The brief (in brief)
We were asked by a leading agricultural business in Shropshire to propose a new company name and brand identity that reflected their modern approach to helping young farmers generate extra income.
We provided a number of new names and both parties agreed upon “Select Livestock”. “Select” has tow meanings, both of which apply to the company; they will do the actual choosing of livestock for their meat industry clients and that the calves themselves are of the highest quality.
Working with the dominant colours of nature, the new logo Key 3 Media designed contains a striking blue and green within dimensions suited to social media and mobile devices. Naturally, this was reflected in their business stationery, which we designed, printed and delivered.
The website we built is mobile-first – crucial for their target audience – with a fully customisable blog, as one of the client wishes was to have an effective vehicle for sharing their news and views.
Key 3 Media also assisted with the launch of Select Livestock, utilising a combination of traditional PR, social media marketing and Facebook Advertising.
The Select Livestock team now has a clean and contemporary identity to appeal to their core target audience of UK farmers aged 20-35. The services and benefits that Select Livestock offers were made as clear as possible and, in fact, they had an enquiry off a farmer before the new website was even submitted to Google! Facebook Advertising worked particularly well, providing a steady stream of enquiries.
