As part of an ongoing marketing support package, we were asked to research, write and upload a monthly blog to the Lyons’ Den news page. Businesses that blog regularly can enjoy 128% more web traffic than those that do not [HubSpot].
With Google as well as user experience in mind, we worked to a 400-word minimum. Blogs have to inform without hard selling, which makes a blog a powerful positioning tool, plus the built-in Yoast SEO tool ensured everything was search-friendly. The blogs also featured in the Lyons’ Den e-newsletters to customers.
The Lyons’ Den blog helped create website traffic of 3,500 hits a month… just three months into its launch. This was 200% higher than our original prediction, stimulating regular telephone and email bookings.
