From designing flyers to implementing a business’s entire marketing strategy, our Shropshire marketers can help. We provide high quality solutions combined with a responsive customer service.
Are we a London or Manchester marketing agency? No. Are we a one-man band? No. People say there’s no money in the middle but they’re wrong! We don’t have the huge overheads of a big agency but nor do we have the limited in-house resources of a sole marketing consultant. By running a lean ship and having the right processes in place to maximize efficiency, Key 3 Media is able to give our clients the best of both worlds. That agency with the super cool massive office, pool table and beer fridge… guess who’s paying for that? Yup, you!
We’re a friendly, informal bunch too. Professional but approachable. You won’t get any techno-babble from us. We’ll listen to your goals and provide clear and effective options for you to choose from.
So if you’re looking for experienced marketers who will jump through hoops to grow your business, say hello to our team:
Andy began his media journey in 1996 in Carlton TV, helping conduct marketing research for both the broadcast and sales teams. He then moved to Pearl & Dean Cinema Advertising as Research Manager. Andy’s experience diversified to online marketing when he moved back to Shropshire, his home county, and launched the award-winning local business marketing company, thebestof Shrewsbury.
After 20+ years in marketing and advertising, Andy knows how important it is to focus on results. No fluff or theory, but techniques and tools that increase brand awareness and, ultimately, the number of business enquiries. Whether that is overseeing a website build or designing a brochure, Andy has to balance eye-catching design with strong content to best generate a Return On Investment. He mainly works on branding / rebranding projects and Facebook Advertising.
Andy consults mainly for Shropshire-based companies, but works across the UK for a range of different-sized clients, from sole traders to organisations such as the NHS. It is Andy who has the meetings with potential new clients and knows every aspect of the business, which enables him to assess a client’s particular needs and provide tailor-made marketing options.
Factoid: Andy once met his hero, Sir Richard Attenborough, and was so stunned all he could say was, “I loved you in The Great Escape.”
Emma has worked in sales and marketing for over 20 years. Her London experience included big-name media companies such as the National Magazine Company and Primesight Outdoor and now she runs thebestof Shrewsbury as well as overseeing social media accounts for Key 3 Media clients.
Although Emma manages social media accounts of her own, her main role is monitoring the latest social media studies and news in order to maximise the effectiveness of the more evolving platforms. By analysing and sharing the results with the team, we can keep our clients ahead of the curve. What worked on Facebook three months ago, for example, may not work as well now. Key 3 Media has to know when and why and move our clients forward. Emma is especially focused on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn for small to medium sized businesses.
Emma is also in charge of Customer Service. When a client has a question, it gets answered. When a client needs something doing, it gets done. One of Emma’s chief priorities is ensuring that clients are fully supported, and it is this genuine aftercare that creates many of Key 3 Media’s recommendations.
Factoid: Emma’s father founded Truprint.
Louise is the engine room of Key 3 Media! A natural researcher and writer, Louise spends much of her time finding and scheduling social media content that increases reach and engagement for numerous clients across numerous sectors. By following the numbers, Louise makes social media all about accountability.
Her two other specialisms are Google AdWords and blogging. If your website needs to be more prominent on Google, Louise is the person to speak to. Google AdWords isn’t about choosing a few keywords anymore. It requires in-depth research, the uploading of negative keywords, daily monitoring and more. Only then can we keep the cost per click as low as possible for our clients. Louise is Google AdWords certified, scoring 88% and 90% in the two exams – so you would be in the safest of hands!
When it comes to blogging, Louise can research and write on any subject. She has a First Class Honours degree in English Literature & Creative Writing! For some clients, Louise provides the copy via email… but others prefer us to have their website login details and she can upload the article directly as well as take care of the SEO.
Factoid: Louise looks amazing in any hat. Bring a hat to the office and test her!
Kimberley is a Creative Writing postgraduate who originally wanted to become a librarian but found a passion for creative media.
At Key 3 Media, Kim works across a variety of areas, allowing her to fully utilise her creative writing and research skills… from blogging and newsletter creation to meeting clients, taking photos and running Facebook Live videos. An advocate of great customer service, Kim’s motto is – you can never be too helpful and clients should always find an approachable, friendly supplier. Key 3 Media often wins business because the client was simply let down by their previous marketer.
Kim is still an avid reader and likes to browse #bookstagram, which she says is highly productive, as it further hones her proofreading and social media skills. She is the main researcher for our B2B clients.
Factoid – Kim once lived in a library.
Catherine is a fully trained and experienced journalist. From blogs and leaflets to website content, Catherine’s hugely important role is to write and share clients’ news, views and advice. This, in turn, helps position them as experts in their field – forward-thinking business owners who care about their service and their customers.
A significant advantage of using Key 3 Media’s web design service is that we include the content in our cost. Most agencies rely on the client to do that, when often they are busy people and perhaps not even good copywriters. This is where Catherine comes in; she knows what questions to ask and how to translate clients’ answers into great sales & marketing material… all achieved through a single meeting or phonecall.
The less we can ask of a client, the better. Catherine is an expert in getting what we need, quickly!
Laura focuses on the research and production of social media content, predominantly Facebook and Instagram. Through researching the most effective types of content for each client and combining it with Facebook Advertising, Laura helps clients drive towards their no.1 goal – generating more enquiries.
Facebook Advertising is a crucial part of Facebook success for any business. We cannot accept any client for Facebook management unless they are happy to include a Facebook Ad budget (which may be as little as £2 per day). But given the volume and depth of user data, the platform can be hugely cost effective and we have launched businesses on the back of Facebook Advertising alone. Laura is able to target almost audience type you want.
Instagram is the area where she has seen most growth and now that you can tie it in with Facebook Advertising, Key 3 Media has another opportunity to maximise our clients’ Return On Investment.
